Fight at high school causes lockdown in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Three juveniles have pending charges after a fight broke out during lunch hours at Phoebus High School, Monday afternoon.

Police responded to the school and cleared the scene pretty quickly, according to Diana Gulotta a spokesperson for Hampton City Schools. It is unknown exactly how many students were involved in the fight. No one was seriously hurt.

The school was on a modified lockdown for about 30 minutes as a result of the fight. Phoebus High School parents were notified via automated phone call.
