Man seeking those responsible for injuries from hit-and-run

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man that was hit by a car while riding his bike in 5100 block of E. Princess Anne Road, is finding those responsible for his injuries.

Lonnie Spell, 50, was riding his bike early in the morning on April 19 when he was hit by a vehicle. The incident happened around 2:30 a.m., according to police spokesman Daniel Hudson. The car had left the scene before officers arrived.

Spell was taken to Sentara Norfolk General with non life-threatening injuries. He says he can’t work because of his injuries and has a lot of medical bills.

Police say the suspect vehicle could be a dark grey Toyota.
