Missing Norfolk man with dementia found safe

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — James David Dail, who has been missing since April 1, was found safe on Tuesday.

Norfolk Police Spokesman Daniel Hudson says Dail was found safe when he went to his brother’s home on Marlow Avenue.

Before going missing, Dail had been last seen walking east from his home in the 900 block of West 27th Street around 12 p.m. Norfolk Police say that Dail suffers from dementia.

Police say they are following-up to make sure Dail receives a medical evaluation.
