Spring has sprung, which means it’s also the season for allergy sufferers.
The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America just released its annual list of the most challenging places to live if you have tree and pollen allergies.
Jackson, MS tops the list for its pollen count. Memphis, TN came in second and Syracuse, New York jumped from number 20 on last year’s list up to the third spot this year. Louisville, KY and McAllen, TX round out the top five.
The rankings also consider the number of residents seeking treatment for allergy symptoms as well as how easy or difficult it is to find allergists.
Two Virginia cities made the list: Richmond ranks 14th and Virginia Beach is number 52.
