Police searching for two suspects in gas station armed robbery

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects responsible for an armed robbery that happened on March 11 at the Exxon Gas Station.

Public Safety Communications received a call just before 11 p.m. in reference to a business robbery in the 3300 block of West Mercury Boulevard.

Hampton Police say two suspects entered the store, showing a gun and demanded money. After they received an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, the two suspects ran away towards Big Bethel Road.

Suspect #1 is described as a black man, about 5’6″ tall with a slender build, wearing a black jacket, dark pants, baseball style hat, and a dark material to conceal his face. Surveillance picture below.
