HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Crime Line tips helped police track down three Hampton teens accused in a rash of vehicle vandalism.
The crimes occurred during the early morning hours of February 26 and February 29 in the Fox Hill section of Hampton. In each case, the suspects used a pellet gun, a paintball gun or a slingshot to shatter vehicle windows.
Surveillance video captured a medium-sized, dark-colored pickup truck believed to be involved in the crimes.
The investigation led detectives to Cameron Bruno. The 18-year-old was arrested and charged with 53 counts of vandalism and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police say he was with a 15-year-old and a 17-year-old, who are also facing 53 counts of vandalism each.
