2 arrested with shooting in Elizabeth City, 1 suspect at large

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — Three men face charges for a shooting in Elizabeth City.

Police say it happened Monday around 7 a.m. outside the Royal Wok Restaurant on East Ehringhaus Street.

Officers say Marcus Hinton pointed a gun at Antron and Dazis Bonds.

They say Daizis Bonds took out his own weapon and shot at Hinton — hitting the Royal Wok.

Police arrested Antron and Dazis Bonds. Antron Bonds was charged assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill. Dazis Bonds was charged assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill, injury to property and discharging a firearm in city limits.

Hinton remains at large with possession of a firearm by a felon and assault by pointing a gun.
