NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Defense attorneys are still trying to get less prison time for a convicted robber.
10 On Your Side has been telling you about Travion Blount for years. He was sentenced to six life terms plus 118 years for a 2006 armed robbery in Norfolk.
Last month, a federal court upheld former Governor Bob McDonnell’s partial pardon.
It reduced his sentence to 40 years.
On Monday, Blount’s lawyers filed a petition asking the court to reconsider. You can read the petition here.
