HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — The Hampton Police Division says a Crime Line tip has led to the identification of a suspect in a burglary and grand larceny investigation.

Justin Cole Martin, 20, is currently wanted on charges of burglary, attempted grand larceny, possession of burglary tools, and grand larceny.

Officers were dispatched to a Walmart on Cunningham Drive at 3:13 Sunday morning in reference to burglary complaint.

An investigation showed that someone broke into the lawn and garden section of the store by cutting through the fence. However, the suspect fled without taking anything after he was confronted by an employee.

Sixteen minutes later, police were called to the Home Depot on North Armistead Avenue for a larceny complaint.

According to police, the suspect stole a riding lawn mower and two grills from the front of the store by loading them into a dark-colored pickup truck.

Anyone with information on Martin or his whereabouts can contact the Hampton Police Division at 757-727-6111 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
