Lechlitner’s body was discovered Jan. 19, 2008 at her home in the 2400 block of Shafer Street in Norfolk.

Norfolk police remained quiet on the case over the years. In 2008, police reported there were obvious signs of trauma when Lechlitner was discovered.

Police have not said when Brown was named a suspect in the Lechlitner’s death. It’s also not clear what Brown’s connection to Norfolk or the victim might be.
