Murder victim found in North Carolina wearing Va. Beach T-shirt

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WAVY) — Police in North Carolina are asking for the public’s help in identifying a murder victim.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police says a woman’s body was found in the 10100 block of Statesville Avenue in Charlotte back in March 2011.

Investigators say she was found wearing a Virginia Beach T-shirt and blue loafers.

The victim is believed to be a white or Hispanic female between the ages of 20-30 years old.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 704-432-TIPS and speak directly to a Homicide Unit Detective. Detective Fitch is the lead detective assigned to the case.
