Hampton Roads communities rank low in new Gallup report

The report looked at on the well-being of communities across the country.

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) — The Hampton Roads community ranked low in a recent Gallup report on the well-being of communities across the country.

Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Newport News ranked 139 out the 190 communities in the report. Naples, Florida was ranked as the number one overall community, while Charleston, West Virginia ranked last.

The rankings were based on interviews with more than 350,000 Americans during 2014 and 2015.
