VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The City of Virginia Beach temporarily closed Baltic Avenue at 20th Street for utility work between Feb. 17 and early March.

Contractors with Gaston Brothers Utilities, LLC, were working to install a gravity sewer main at the intersection of the two streets.

Erica Roberts with Virginia Beach Public Works says the work has been completed. However, she says they had to delay paving due to the weather.

Roberts says crews are planning on finishing up the project on Monday, March 7.
