SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Target Distribution Center in Suffolk will be hiring for 600 new jobs, the company announced today.

Along with the jobs, Target will also be adding new equipment and product lines in order to get products to consumers faster.

Carson Landsgard, senior vice president of distribution at Target, said, “This expansion is a great investment in the local community and in Target’s work to create an enhanced shopping experience for guests.”

The company has 58 stores in the state as well as another distribution center in Stuarts Draft.
