Driver injured in shooting on Picadilly Street

Police say he was injured when the driver's side window shattered in the shooting.

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk Police are investigating a shooting that reportedly injured a driver in a parked car along Picadilly Street Tuesday night.

Police spokesman Daniel Hudson told WAVY.com that four men between the ages of 19 and 21 were sitting in the car around 8:25 p.m., when someone shot at the car.

The men then drove to Norview Recreation Center and called 911. Hudson says the driver sustained a minor injury from the driver’s side window shattering during the shooting.

The man was treated by paramedics, and Hudson says no other injuries were reported.
