PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The high school football season ended months ago, but the honors continue to be handed out and last weekend two young stars were named to one of the most prestigious All-American teams in the country.
Wayne Davis and Levonta Taylor were both named to the 2016 Parade All-America Team.
Wayne Davis is a 5′-11″, 190 pound defensive back from Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk. He had seven interceptions and returned five of them for touchdowns his senior season at Lake Taylor. Davis will play his college football at Ohio State University.
Meanwhile Levonta Taylor is a 5′-11″, 180 pound defensive back from Ocean Lakes High school in Virginia Beach. He had four interceptions and forced six fumbles this season for the Dolphins. Taylor will play his college football at Florida State University.
