Attempted robbery reported at Norfolk tobacco store

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A man attempted to rob a tobacco store in Norfolk Friday afternoon.

Police spokesman Daniel Hudson said the suspect had a note implying he had a bomb, when he tried to rob the Tobacco 4 Less in the 3900 block of Colley Avenue. The department brought a K-9 officer to the scene to see if they could help track down the suspect, but they have not found him yet.

There were no injuries reported.
