Terry Tarpey scored 12 points and led the team with 11 rebounds, Connor Burchfield had 11 points and Sean Sheldon chipped in 10. David Cohn dished 10 assists in addition to scoring seven points.

William & Mary led early in the first half and had a 39-22 advantage at the break. Delaware never threatened in the second half and the Tribe rolled to the win.

The crowd of more than 6,000 was the Tribe’s best of the season.

“The atmosphere in here was obviously amazing,” Omar Prewitt said.

“Great win for our guys and a terrific atmosphere,” said coach Tony Shaver. “It’s exciting to be a part of this whole thing right now. The growth of our program, and to walk up here before the game and 6,000 people up here is really pretty neat.
