String of crimes at Nimmo Parkway Walmart in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Police need your help in identifying suspects in a string of unconnected crimes that occurred at a Walmart located in the 1100 block of Nimmo Parkway.

The first two suspects police are looking for entered the store Saturday, January 2 around 4:30 p.m. The suspects then switched a price tag on an item, making it a cheaper price than what the item was worth. The men then purchased the item with the false price tag.

Both subjects are described as black, between 5’9” and  6’0″, 150 – 190 lbs. The one in the black hoodie is believed to be 30-40 years old, while the other suspect is believed to be 25-35 years old.

The next suspect entered the store Sunday, January 3 around 8:30 a.m. The man then picked up a battery worth over $100. The suspect then left the store without paying for the battery.

This suspect is believed to be in his late teens or early 20’s, 5’7” – 5’9” and 130 – 150 lbs.

The next suspect was in the store on Sunday, January 3 around 11 a.m. The man got into an argument with another person in the self-checkout line. The suspect then started punching the victim in the face repeatedly.

The fight was broken up by another person in line. The suspect then fled the store, and was last seen running through the parking lot of Virginia Beach Baptist Church on Newstead Drive.

The suspect is described as Hispanic with a medium complexion, 20-25 years of age, 5’7” and 175 lbs.

The final suspect police are searching for entered the Walmart on Monday, January 4 around 6:30 p.m. The suspect went around the store putting items in a cart. The man then approached the self-checkout, and only scanned a portion of the items in his shopping cart.

The suspect then left the store without paying for the unscanned items.

The suspect is described as white, 40 – 50 years old, 5’10” and 210 lbs.
