2 arrested for string of burglaries in Gloucester County

GLOUCESTER COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — The Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men wanted in connection to a series of residential burglaries and larcenies across the county.

Deputies say Johnny T. Horsley and James S. Massengill targeted homes in the Coke and Bena areas of the county from early November to mid December 2015.

According to deputies, most of the crimes occurred during the day while the residents were away at work.

Horsley was charged with three counts of grand larceny and breaking and entering. Massengill was charged with four counts of grand larceny and four counts of breaking and entering.
