PD: Man wanted for stealing narcotics from Walgreens

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Police in Virginia Beach are looking for a man they say stole narcotics from a Walgreens.

Police say the man walked into the store at 2400 Pacific Avenue, around 10 a.m. Wednesday. He allegedly verbally threatened to harm the employees and demanded narcotics.

The suspect obtained the narcotics and fled towards 25th Street and Pacific Avenue, say police.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5′ 7″ to 5′ 10″ tall, medium build. The suspect was wearing a gray knit cap, a mask covering his face, tan pants and sunglasses.

Detectives believe this is the same suspect responsible for a similar robbery that occurred at the same location on December 22, 2015.
