Police identify suspect in armed bank robbery in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Police have identified the suspect connected to a bank robbery at the Langley Federal Credit Union on the 200 block of Fox Hill Road in Hampton, Friday evening.

According to Hampton Police, 27-year-old Anthony Echeviarra, walked into Langley Federal Credit Union shortly before 6 p.m. armed with a gun and demanded money. Once he received it, he fled the area in a white sedan. No one was hurt in this incident.

Echeviarra was later identified in this robbery. He is wanted and has warrants on file for two counts of robbery, two counts of using a firearm in commission of a felony, one count of burglary while armed and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Echevarria is a black male with a medium complexion, 6’0″, 240 lbs. and has two tear drop tattoos under his left eye.
