Hampton man robbed at gunpoint

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – A Hampton man was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening at his home.

SPO Ashley Jenrette with Hampton Police said officers were called to the 100 block of Langley Avenue around 5:30 p.m. for the report of a robbery. The 69-year-old victim told officers he was returning home when a man with a gun forced him into the residence. He said two more suspects then entered his home and began to assault him.

The suspects stole the man’s wallet, money and his cellphones. The victim was treated for his injuries, which were not serious.

One suspect is described as a black male, dark skin tone, 5’9-5’10, 160-165 lbs, 25-30 years-old with a bald head. A second suspect is described as a black male, medium skin tone, 5’9-5’10, 160-165 lbs, 25-30 years-old, last seen wearing an army-colored jacket. The final suspect is described only as a black male, according to police.
