NASA accepting applications for astronaut candidates

NBC NEWS — NASA is on the hunt for new astronaut candidates.

NASA says the new class of astronauts won’t be doing just any mission, they may help the agency go to Mars.

The agency does has some specific requirements for anyone hoping to land a job as an astronaut.

Applicants should have at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, biological science, physical science, computer science or mathematics.

The space agency will be taking applications until the middle of February and expects to announce the selected candidates in the middle of 2017.
