Norfolk man arrested in shooting incident on Granby Street

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police in Norfolk have arrested a man in connection with a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday afternoon.

Police say a 22-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound after an argument in the 2700 block of Granby Street, around 1:34 p.m.

The man was taken to Sentara General Hospital with injuries non life-threatening injuries. Granby Street was briefly closed and has since reopened.

Marcus R. Houston, 25, is currently being held without bond at Norfolk City Jail. Warrants were secured for malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.
