VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A man who led police on a chase before crashing into a home in Virginia Beach earlier this year has pleaded guilty to several charges, including DUI.

Twayne Johnson plead guilty Monday to 10 charges: destruction of property, DUI, refusal, possession of marijuana, no head light, failure to maintain lane, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, assault and battery of a law enforcement officer, eluding police, and hit-and-run.

Back in May, Johnson led officers on a foot pursuit after fleeing a traffic stop and crashing into a home at the New Pointe Condominiums on Zephyr Court.

Police told 10 On Your Side the Johnson ran away, but after a short foot chase, officers caught up with him and took him into custody. Police said no one, except Johnson was hurt during the incident.

Johnson will be sentenced March 7, 2016.
