CAMDEN COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — A North Carolina man is facing multiple charges after he was arrested for reportedly pointing a gun at a Camden County High School student in early December.
According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, the incident reportedly occurred around 8 a.m. on Dec. 3, when the suspect was dropping off his girlfriend in the front parking lot at the school.
The victim and the suspect reportedly exchanged words before the suspect pulled a handgun on the suspect. Investigators say he pointed the gun at the victim before lowering it and driving off.
Maisam Mohammad Zeidan, 19, was arrested on Dec. 6 for charges of possessing a gun on educational property and assault by pointing a weapon.
Zeidan was taken to Albemarle District Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.
