Two arrested for potential meth lab

ISLE OF WIGHT, Va. (WAVY) – Two people have been arrested after members of the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team raided a possible meth lab in the Carrsville community early Sunday morning.

Deputies received a tip about 51-year-old Shelton Harrell Cobb and 59-year-old Felicia Lucas Rooney actively operating a meth lab in the 2700 block of Colosse Rd.

After the search warrant was completed, Cobb and Rooney were arrested and all items linked to a meth lab were seized.

Carrsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue and the Virginia State Police assisted in this investigation.

Both persons have been charged as a result of this investigation with possession of a schedule one or two substance-methamphetamine, manufacturing of methamphetamine, and possession of two or more items associated with manufacture of methamphetamine.
