Driver crashes into abandoned house in Accomack County, charged with DUI

ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia State Police tell a driver was charged with DUI after crashing into an abandoned house in Accomack County Tuesday night.

According to State Police, the driver crashed at Front Street and Drummond Town Road. Police were called to the scene around 7:29 p.m.

Police say the driver refused to cooperate with State Police and the local sheriff department came to assist in taking the driver into custody.

The driver Justin Cyle Kellam was charged with destruction of property, DUI under the age of 21, obstructing justice threat to law enforcement and fail to maintain lane of travel.
