ODU’s Stith to miss 3-4 weeks with knee sprain

NORFOLK (WAVY) — Old Dominion sophomore forward Brandan Stith will miss the next 3-4 weeks after suffering a knee sprain in the Monarchs victory over Morgan State on Wednesday night.

That’s good news considering the injury appeared to much more serious when Stith went down with 5:00 to play. Most people feared that it was a torn ligament, which would have been a season ending injury.

An MRI on Thursday morning revealed a sprain of his MCL.

ODU plays No. 21 Purdue on Saturday as part of a preseason tournament in Connecticut.
