3 arrested for allegedly stealing teen’s shoes

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton police have arrested three teenagers accused of stealing another teen’s tennis shoes.

Police say the victim, a 14-year-old boy, was walking near the 100 block of Robinson Road Tuesday when the three suspects known to him approached him and assaulted him. The three teens then fled with the victim’s shoes.

The boy was treated in the hospital for minor injuries.

Investigators arrested three boys: a 16-year-old, 15-year-old and 14-year-old and charged them each with robbery.
