Police investigating Elizabeth City cash-grab

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) — Police are working on locating the suspects in a 7-Eleven cash-grab that occurred at 300 N. Hughes Boulevard Tuesday evening.

Officers on the scene discovered that an unknown black man reached over the counter, took some money and then fled the store on foot. The store was full of customers at the time of the robbery.

The suspect was seen on security footage wearing a light blue “born fly” t-shirt.
