Same suspects sought in similar Hampton robberies

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Police are investigating two similar robberies that occurred on November 7, at separate 7-Eleven locations.

At 12:25 a.m., Hampton Police responded to a burglary at a 7-Eleven store located in the 1500 block of Old Buckroe Road. The suspects entered the business, displayed a firearm and demanded money. They fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Then at 2:04 a.m., Hampton Police responded to another burglary complaint from a 7-Eleven store located in the 1400 block of Big Bethel Road. The suspects entered the business and demanded money at gunpoint again. Both suspects fled the scene on foot towards Saunders Road.

According to the Hampton Police Division, both incidents appear to be related to similar robberies that occurred on October 24.

The first male suspect is being described as 19 to 20 years old, 5′-6″ to 5′-7″ tall, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a white mask covering his face, dark pants, black shoes with white soles and latex gloves.

The second male suspect is being described as 19 to 20 years old, 5′-8″ to 5’10” tall, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hat, black zip up hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, black shoes, a black mask covering his face and latex gloves.
