Poquoson police arrest man accused of indecent exposure

POQUOSON, Va. (WAVY) — Authorities have arrested a man accused of exposing himself to a juvenile.

Poquoson Police say 48-year-old Christopher Gemski appeared to follow a girl who was shopping with her mother at the Farm Fresh Store located at 460 Wythe Creek Road on Oct. 14, around 3:30 p.m.

The man then approached the girl when she was alone and began to speak to her. When the girl looked over at the man, police say, he then exposed himself. Police say he quickly adjusted his clothing and left the store.

Investigators were able to locate Gemski at the home of a relative in Buckingham County, Virginia on Tuesday afternoon.

Gemski was charged with indecent exposure and engaging in an actual or explicitly simulated sexual act in public. He is currently being held in Buckingham County.
