Newport News delegation visits Chinese Sister Cities

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Leaders representing Newport News are back home from a Sister Cities trip to China.

Ten people — including City Manager James Bourey made the journey to Asia.

The city has partnered with China for years now, and Christopher Newport University has partnered with the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

They are working together to find possible partnerships with business opportunities.
