NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A defense contractor is eliminating dozens of local jobs.
Raytheon announced it is cutting 92 jobs from its Norfolk office on Ellsmere Avenue.
The company says some of the employees could transfer to the Raytheon office in Chesapeake.
These changes will begin in January and finish in May 2016.
Raytheon also announced a facility expansion and 250 new jobs in Indianapolis.
