Spartyka Foundation Founder Explains his Passion for Helping Fellow Soldiers

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – In honor of Veterans Day, Jimi Partyka is calling on the community to take action and help our service men and women returning from combat to deal with the unseen wounds.

Partyka is the founder of the Spartyka Foundation and the fight league. Partyka is an active duty Chief in the U.S. Navy who has completed two tours overseas and was fortunate enough to not suffer any physical trauma. He did, however, watch his colleagues suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome as a result of their service. He has since dedicated much of his free time to providing those men and women and their families with the help they need.

The next Spartyka Foundation event will take place this Veterans Day weekend.

Get your tickets to see the Spartyka Fight League “END 22”  tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at the Constant Center in Norfolk.

Spartyka Foundation “END 22 5k Race” is this Sunday morning at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. For tickets, registration and more information on the cause visit SpartykaFoundation.org.
