Williamsburg Outback employee accused of stealing steaks

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – Police have arrested a former Outback Steakhouse employee for attempting to steal steaks and other items from the restaurant.

On Tuesday, October 13 police responded to the location at 3000 block of Richmond Road for a hang-up 911 call. When police arrived they spoke with management who reported that 35-year-old employee Tyre Toriano-Deonte Hill had items in his book bag belonging to the restaurant. Officers found steaks and other consumables that were valued under $200.00. At the time of the arrest officers say Mr. Hill appeared intoxicated.

All of the items were returned to the restaurant. Mr. Hill was charged with Public Intoxication and Embezzlement and is being held at Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
