SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — If you haven’t had your flu shot yet this season, you have several opportunities to get it for free.
Bon Secours is offering flu shots Oct. 17 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the locations listed below:
- Portsmouth – Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center, 3636 High Street
- Norfolk – Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center, 150 Kingsley Lane
- Newport News – Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital, 2 Bernardine Drive
- Suffolk – Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View, 5818 Harbour View Boulevard
Doses for adults, children and infants will be available. The flu shots are free, but will only be available while supplies last.

Three local health districts are also offering free flu shots Saturday, Oct. 17 and two of the locations will be drive-thru events.

Chesapeake Health Dept.: Drive-thru event for ages 3 years and up

Time: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Enter at the intersection of Knells Ridge Blvd. and Battlefield Blvd.

The Harvest Your Health Expo is holding a health expo and flu shot clinic in Chesapeake November 4 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Oak Grove United Methodist Church on Battlefield Boulevard. Those attending the event will have access to free health screenings and free flu shots for ages 7 and up. Bring your health insurance card with you if you have one.
