NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Those who will decide Norfolk State University’s fate are now gathering information.
Representatives from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, or SACS, will be at NSU over the next three days.
SACS put NSU on probation in December because of missing audits, bad bookkeeping and low quality instructional facilities. State auditors just released their opinion on NSU’s latest financial statements.
It appears the school is getting back on track.
The SACS board will meet in December to discuss the school’s accreditation.
