NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY)- Technology issues for Southwest Airlines are requiring customers who arrive for travel to be checked in manually Sunday morning. The airline carrier is advising customers to arrive at least two hours prior to their scheduled departures to help minimize delays.
Michelle Agnew with Southwest Airlines told WAVY.com that their teams are working diligently to enhance the performance their technology and that airport-based staff are working with customers on their individual itineraries.
Agnew said that as of 10:00 a.m. CDT, fewer than 100 of the 3600 flights scheduled to operate today had been briefly delayed .
