Langley airmen return home after Middle East deployment

JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. (WAVY) — The Air Force says two squadrons have returned home from a 6-month deployment in the Middle East.

Officials at Langley Air Force Base sent the pictures and video of about 200 airmen getting off their transport.

The members of the 94th and 149th Fighter Squadrons both operated and maintained the F-22 Raptors in combat.

Along with other coalition fighters, the airmen joined forces with troops from Virginia Air National Guard.

They helped conduct airstrikes in Iraq and Syria.
