Suspects on the run after early morning robbery

W. Ocean View 7-Eleven robbery suspects

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk police are asking the public to help identify two men who robbed a convenience store early Saturday morning.

Norfolk police responded to the 7-Eleven located at 1161 W. Ocean View Avenue at 3:15 a.m. The suspects had already fled from the scene. A preliminary investigation revealed that two black males entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money and other items. No one was injured.

The first suspect is described as black male, approximately 6’2″ in height and 200 lbs, with braided hair, wearing a black baseball hat, white shirt covering his face, a striped grey long-sleeve shirt and green khaki pants.

The second suspect is described as a black male approximately 5’6″ in height and 180 lbs, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with his face covered and black pants.

Police have no further information at this time.
