Suffolk police search for armed robbers

CHUCKATUCK, Va. (WAVY) – Suffolk Police are searching for two men who they say robbed a 7-Eleven in the 6000 block of Godwin Boulevard in Chuckatuck early Saturday morning.

Suffolk Police spokesperson Diana Klink said an employee at the store told Emergency Communications that two black males demanded money after entering the store with their faces covered and displaying guns. The subjects fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt during the robbery.

The first suspect is described as approximately 6’ tall with a thin build and dark skin. He was wearing a black hoodie with a black hood on his head zipped up,and black pants. He covered his with a black t-shirt and was also wearing dark colored gloves.

The second suspect is described as approximately 6’ tall with a thicker build and light skin. He was wearing a white hoodie with a yellow hood on his head and black pants. He covered his face with a black t-shirt and was also wearing gloves.

Surveillance video and photos will be provided as soon as they are available.
