Man wearing “just donate” shirt robs Wells Fargo bank

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk police responded to a bank robbery at a Wells Fargo Thursday morning.

The call came in at 9:28 a.m. from the bank at 1280 N. Military Highway.

Sam Shenouda with Norfolk Police confirmed the suspect entered the bank, implied he had a gun, then fled as soon as he got the cash he demanded. He was last seen getting into the passenger side of a light-colored sedan.

Police are still searching for him. They released surveillance images from the bank, which show he was wearing a black hat with a circular gold emblem, a white t-shirt with the words “just donate” in red, blue jeans, and black gym shoes.
