Police: Suspects skipped items in self-checkout at Wal-Mart

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police are looking for three individuals they say “skipped items” in the self-checkout line at a Wal-Mart in Suffolk.

Police said two woman and a man are accused of scanning a few items and then placing other items directly in shopping bags.

The theft happened at the Wal-Mart in the 6200 block of College Drive on Sept. 7, around 3:30 p.m.

The suspects are believed to be in their early to mid-20s. The man was last seen wearing a green hat, green button down shirt and blue jeans. One of the females was last seen wearing a red bandanna on her head, a white T-shirt, blue jean shorts and red leggings. The second female was wearing a white tank top with blue jean shorts and black sneakers.

 

The suspects were seen leaving the store in a purple Hyundai sedan.
