Health Department searching for dog that bit a person

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – The Peninsula Health District is requesting the public’s help to find a dog that bit a person in Williamsburg.

The victim said two teenagers were walking the dog in the Clinton Gardens Neighborhood off Mt. Vernon Avenue last Thursday, when it attacked. It was a medium-sized black, white and gray long hair dog.

If the dog is not found, the victim will have to get rabies shots. If the dog is found, it will be confined to its home for ten days.
