Cracker Barrel employees robbed at gunpoint

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Two men with guns robbed employees at the Cracker Barrel on Greenbrier Parkway late Sunday night.

The employees were taking out the trash around 11:20 p.m. when the suspects approached them and robbed them of their personal belongings. Then, according to police, they ordered the employees back into the restaurant and into the manager’s office. The suspects made the manager get money out of the safe, then they left.

Chesapeake police say they called out K-9 to assist with the search for the men, but at this time, the suspects remain on the run.
