PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Buying new school clothes or even uniforms can be a financial burden for some parents, especially those coming from abusive homes. That is where My Help My Hope Foundation comes in. Their annual “Operation School Uniform” fundraiser seeks to help children living in shelters by providing them with the uniforms they need for school. Cathy Staton, CEO of My Help My Hope Foundation was on The Hampton Roads Show this morning to tell us how more can get involved.
