Hampton police looking for Papa John’s robbery suspect

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton police are looking for a man accused of robbing a Papa John’s in Hampton.

Investigators said the man was captured on surveillance images pulling out a firearm and demanding money from an employee at the restaurant located in the 3300 block of Commander Shepard, Wednesday around 11:49 p.m.

He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, said police.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’9-6’0 tall and weighing around 140-160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown mask over the lower part of his face, a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, gray gloves and a backpack.
